A very interesting read in NY Mag regarding the issue surrounding Shake Shack's apparent move into a space inside Grand Central Terminal. They won a bid to move into a space currently occupied by Zocalo who doesn't want to go because they believe the bidding was done unfairly. The bottom line? Shake Shack will be paying over $100,000 more in rent plus a chunk of the profits will be going to the MTA...It's sounds a little under the table to me but that's New York!
