So a Five Guys Opened Down The Road From Me...

...and in my world that is a pretty dangerous thing to have happen. No, I'm not saying that it's bad for me or anything because it's all fattening and stuff. What I am saying is that having a Five Guy's Burgers and Fries right next to my house might spoil the experience forever. You see the last thing I want is to get tired of something that I see as a special treat...like going to Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. If I lived there it would no longer be a place to go, the excitement would be gone. How depressing. It should be like a great movie that you haven't seen in a really long time, then one day you turn on the TV and there it is, it's like you're seeing it again for the first time. I love it when AMC runs the Godfather back to back to back, usually once a year, and I have to just sit there and watch every minute of it (ok maybe only the first two parts, the third one stinks.) If I think about it, if I watched it all the time it just wouldn't be the same anymore and I wouldn't want to repeat lines like...."Luca Brasi is sleeping with da fishes...."
So now every time I drive by Five Guys I have to fight the urge to go there....and it's really, really hard because the burgers and fries are just so darn good! And I love the way after they pack your bag they dump extra fries on top! Hint: Never order a large fry, a regular fry is more than enough and if you eat there get a small drink because they have free refills. Now comes the hard part, deciding just when is the perfect time for a visit...once a month? Once a week? Jeez I can't decide. The only thing that could possibly make it any worse is if IN-N-OUT Burger ever opened a location this far east, that would make being me completely unbearable...
